Meet Kat Christoforou
Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
MBACP.PG Dip Counselling/Psychotherapy PG Dip Mental Health
I specialise in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including domestic violence, sexual and emotional abuse, childhood neglect, anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. I offer a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. Together we can explore past experiences, emotional patterns, and current challenges, helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and healthier ways of coping.
I work with adults, young people, and children, offering both short- and long-term therapy. With younger clients I often incorporate creative approaches such as art therapy, helping them express emotions that may be difficult to verbalise. I also support neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism.
Sessions are available online or face-to-face in Enfield, in English or Polish.
